SMARTFLAME™:

Flame Safety maximizes user safety. A thermocouple is used to sense the presence of a flame after a burner is turned on. If the flame should blow out, the sensor will immediately register the change in temperature and turn off the gas flow. Now, you can use your gas cooktop without fear of excess gas escaping into the room.
